Regis Rice is a founding partner of Rice & Paige, PC. Ms. Rice hails from the great state of Florida. On December 19th,1998, Regis graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Florida. Regis graduated with a Master’s in Education from the University of Florida School of Education on August 12, 2000. Regis went on to teach 7th grade geography for the next two years in Florida. Regis then went on to law school at Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia and graduated with her Juris Doctor on May 7th, 2005. After passing the bar in October 2005, Regis went to work at the Norfolk Public Defender's Office until she left for private practice in 2010. While at the Public Defender's Office, Regis handled traffic, misdemeanor and felony cases for adults and juveniles.

 

Regis’ practice consists of handling felony and misdemeanor cases in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court as well as in General District Court and Circuit Court in all of the cities of Hampton Roads. Regis also does a lot of work as a guardian ad litem in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations and Circuit Court. Her time as an educator gives her a unique understanding and perspective when it comes to the many issues that affect children in this area. Regis is also a board member of Norfolk CASA as well as a member of the Virginia Bar and Virginia Beach Bar Associations. Regis is married and the mother of two beautiful girls.
