Devon R. Paige is a founding partner of Rice & Paige, PC. Throughout her legal career, she has been a trial attorney handling cases from the commencement of litigation through verdict, judgment or settlement. Devon focuses her practice on criminal and family law and is certified by the Supreme Court of Virginia as a Guardian ad Litem for juveniles and incapacitated adults. 
 
A graduate of the University of Virginia and The George Washington Law School, Devon began her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in Portsmouth, before serving in Norfolk as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney. Devon next served as staff counsel for GEICO Insurance Company where she maintained an extensive and active caseload defending personal injury and property damage claims. Her time as a litigator has afforded her the opportunity to try numerous bench trials in the General District Courts and several jury trials in the Circuit Courts in Hampton Roads. 

 

As a trial attorney Devon understands the importance of building relationships in the legal community, and as a result she has maintained membership with the Norfolk Portsmouth Association and South Hampton Roads Bar Association. Devon also served on the Hampton Roads Board of Governors for the Virginia Opera and frequently speaks at events in the Norfolk Public Schools. Ms. Paige is a lifelong resident of Norfolk where she still resides with her husband and two children.
