SPA ETIQUETTE 

 

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your schedule appointment.

  • We kindly ask that you turn your cell phone to vibrate or off upon arrival.

  • Please leave valuables at home. Renu Therapeautic Massage and Bodyworks will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Be considerate of other spa guests by holding conversations in a quiet voice.

  • Undress for body treatments. The therapist will keep your body draped and only expose body parts being worked on. If it makes you more comfortable, a swim suit or under garments can be worn during treatments.

  • Relax and let the therapist know of any special needs during your treatment.

  • Provide feedback about your spa experience to the therapist; we want you to have the best spa experience possible.

At Renu Therapeautic Massage and Bodyworks, we strive to provide a relaxed and positive atmosphere for your spa experience. Below are our Spa Policies and basic spa etiquette to help you get the most from your spa visit.

SPA POLICIES

 

Cancellations

  • Scheduled treatments are reserved especially for you. We require 24 hour advance notice in order to cancel any service with no charge.

  • If your appointment is not cancelled within this notification period, your appointment is considered confirmed. Any changes or cancellations made after the 24 hour window are subject to a full charge for each service scheduled.

  • This policy also applies to Groupon holders.

Late Arrival

  • All spa appointments have been designed to allow appropriate time for full enjoyment of each service. 

  • Please be aware that late arrivals will not be afforded extension of scheduled treatments. Treatments will be rendered only for the remainder of the scheduled appointment and you will be responsible for payment for the full service.

Prices and Services

  • ​Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment. 

  • We offer a 20% military discount; active duty, reservists, and veterans.

  • Please view our treatments available.

Combining Services/Appointments

  • We do not offer back to back appointments with the same Massage Therapist or schedule any appointments longer than 90 minutes in length.

Gratuity

  • Our listed rates do not include gratuity. A cash or credit gratuity of 15-20% for each service price is appropriate and appreciated. â€‹

Groupons

  • All policies fully apply to Groupon holders and use of a Groupon for spa services.

  • If you schedule an appointment with the intent to redeem a Groupon and fail to show for the appointment, fail to cancel or reschedule your appointment within the 24 hour appointment window, your redemption service of the Groupon will no longer be valid for future use.

  • Gratuity has not been included in any Groupon that has been purchased for services. A cash or credit gratuity of 15-20% for each service price is appropriate and appreciated.

Health Conditions

  • ​Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries or special needs which may affect your services.

Cleanliness

  • ​Keeping our commitment to cleanliness, safety and hygiene, our equipment is sterilized and sanitized after every service and treatment.

Minors

  • Anyone under the age of 18 that is requiring spa services, must be accompanied by a parent. With parental supervision we can offer spa treatments ages 15-17.

  • We love children, but do not want them in the spa area, as others come to relax.
